"Time may create an inseparable union with space, the space-time, and both, space and time, may be able to stretch out as well as compress themselves....Time seems to be modable like plasticine."                                                                                          (Albert Einstein)

Sema (Arabian) refers to a certain Sufi dance, yet also describes any kind of mystic dance. By pivoting as well as at the same time following a large circular pattern when moving along, the dancing dervishes aspire to overcome the limits of space and time. In consequence, this ritual serves as a symbolic act, depicting the planets´ dance around the centric sun. The music of the Ney flute reminds of the voice of the heart.
